We are looking for a seasoned, hard working, smart and over achieving Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives.
 
Reporting to the Director of Global Business Solutions for EMEA and APAC, we are looking for a Global Business Solutions Architect leader with business and technical expertise to partner with sales reps to consult, strategize, plan, design and execute on enterprise and mid-market deals in a complex sales cycle.  The ideal candidate is both business and technically savvy, possess excellent strategic thinking, communication/presentation skills, relationship/client facing experience, negotiation and sales/marketing expertise that can consult with C-level executives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Consult and advise potential clients on business and technical strategy for implementing Degreed
    • Advise on strategies for transformation and deploying new technologies
    • Advise and support business case development
    • Detailed knowledge of product features, integrations, configuration options and functionalities of Degreed architecture to drive client requirement decisions
    • Support the Sales team with business and technical knowledge and advice, handling technical objections in client meetings
    • Support sales team with the development of use cases, statement of work and RFPs
    • Work closely with Marketing, Technical Solutions, Engineering, Product, and Client Experience Management teams to ensure smooth product delivery and commit long-term customer success

REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven work experience as a Sales consulting role, minimum 5-10 years experience
    • Proven track record selling complex enterprise and midmarket solutions
    • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives & internal cross-functional teams
    • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software technologies, industry standard practices for implementing file feeds, API, SSO authentication and integrations
    • Technical implementation experience working with start-up, mid-market, and enterprise clients
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills to creatively convey complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
    • Thorough understanding of Human Capital Management enterprise software SaaS, and background in L&D or Talent Management is a plus
    • Willingness to travel
