The Opportunity

We’re looking for an energetic person to join our cross-functional Data Analysis & Reporting team as a full-time Clinical Data Analyst. As a member of this team you’ll work with numerous internal and external stakeholders to design, analyze, and steward the reporting products that will help our healthcare customers make effective decisions. We are a fast-moving tech start-up. We are especially interested in expertise from public health and epidemiology. New entrants to the field are welcome to apply.


  • Ensure our data outputs are insightful and clinically valuable
  • Steward insightful clinical analysis and suggestions for deeper dives
  • Clearly and repeatedly communicate findings, considerations, data limitations, conclusions, and ideas
  • Work closely with the team of Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Management to deliver valuable reporting products and insights
  • Ideate areas for additional analysis
  • Help to identify, nurture and manage strategic partnerships and research collaborations with external experts, policymakers, health administrators, and academics
  • Editing and reviewing reports, as well as identifying areas for rigor
  • Maintaining a literature review for relevant topics


  • Expertise in a healthcare analysis field such as public health or epidemiology
  • Experience working with relational databases and complex data sets.
  • Experience in developing and conducting quantitative and qualitative epidemiological analyses
  • Experience in interpretation of findings and informing research questions
  • Publication and academic writing experience
  • Passion to improve public health using technology
  • Being a team player and a life-long-learner is important to you
  • An eye for detail

Nice to Have

  • Graduate Degree in a related field (e.g. MSc, MPH)
  • Familiarity with Tableau, R and willingness to learn - experience with other statistical platforms is also valuable (e.g. example SAS, STATA, etc)
  • Experience working with Government institutions
  • Some knowledge/experience with tech start-ups
  • Understanding of the healthcare system across Canada and clinical research processes
  • Experience in healthcare surveillance
