What you'll be doing

As an Inbound Sales Agent, you’ll be taking calls from customers of top direct-to-consumer brands. These customers call in after seeing an ad for a product on TV. Products include cookware and other household goods.

The customers you’ll be talking to have already expressed interest in the products you’re selling. You’ll be answering customers’ questions and guiding them to make good purchase decisions.

Conversion rates for these calls are high, typically averaging over 40%. High conversion rates lead to higher agent earnings. Moderate and top-earning inbound sales agents make $15 to $25+/hour.

You’ll have the ability to set your schedule around your day and the important events in your life.

Hours of operation are 24/7. You can choose to work weekdays, weekends, or both. You can work early mornings, late nights, or any time in between. Design your schedule in whatever way makes the most sense for you.

Taking the next steps

To become an Inbound Sales Agent, you’ll start by joining the NexRep Marketplace. It’s free to join and takes just three easy steps and less than 45 minutes of your time.

  • The first step is Marketplace Registration. You’ll answer a few simples’ questions about yourself and go through a few interactive Marketplace Matching exercises. This step is intended to help us get to know you and to identify your skills and interests, and it typically takes 30 minutes or less.
  • After you register, you’ll have an opportunity to schedule a call with a Marketplace Coordinator at a time that works for you.
  • Finally, the Marketplace Coordinator will call you at the time you selected. During the 10-minute call, you’ll be matched with a specific opportunity and given the next steps for getting started.


What it means to be an indpendent contractor

Being an independent contractor means:

  • You’ll sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and complete a W-9 form.
  • You’ll complete a self-funded background check through a third-party service. The background check service charges a one-time fee of $25.
  • You will not be a NexRep employee and NexRep will not be your employer.
  • You’ll be your own boss. No one will tell you when or how much to work.
  • You’ll set your own schedule.
  • You’ll be able to work from the comfort of your own home.
