Job Description

Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue and acting as technical subject matter expert for Direct View LED and Projection technology and also has a vertical channel focus. Support vendors in bringing their product(s) to market through Almo sales channels. This is a remote role.

 

What you will do in this role:

  • Work with Almo’s reseller customers as a technical specialist at the project level, assisting in designing and specifying key product lines.
  • Assist Almo’s sales team in closing sales of key product lines, including joint sales calls and customer site visits.
  • Manage key vendor relationships and work with vendors to grow business within Almo customer base. Partner with vendors to develop new programs, assist with marketing activities and facilitate communications to Almo’s sales team.
  • Identify potential new business opportunities and interface between manufacturer, Marketing and Sales.
  • Provide industry insight and market information through written communications for both internal and external publications.

Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales/product management experience
  • Technical experience with Direct View LED and Projection technology a must
  • CTS certification, required within 6 months of employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven sales track record of products and services.
  • Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers
  • Be able to manage long and short sales cycles
  • Ability to multi-task and exceed customer expectations and responsiveness
  • Sound analysis and critical decision making skills
  • Travel is required for this role with a minimum of once a quarter.
