As a Manager of the Commercial Territory Rep (CTR) team, you will manage the CTRs’ activities and business performance for NetApp products in the territory segment assigned to you. This challenging position provides leadership and management oversight to CTRs. You develop short to mid-term plans to meet assigned revenue goals and key metrics. You must be results driven, customer focused, tech-savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships.
Provide direct management oversight to a group of CTRs to drive all pertinent issues related to designated sales strategy and sales quota attainment.
Enable the operations – sales processes and tools - of the CTR function in assigned territory.
Plan and direct activities that would drive towards business goals attainment. These include collaboration with the Channel, Marketing and Digital Sales teams in the creation of such activities.
Conduct business hygiene management with CTRs: review sales activities metrics, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy.
Foster close working relationship with cross-function teams to support the growth of the business: Digital Sales, Channel team, Channel partners, Marketing, System Engineers.
Attend quarterly business reviews and lead discussions specific to assigned territory.
Weekly review/update on the business, and provide credible forecasting to Direct Manager and Area Leader.
Coach, develop and enable CTRs to meet productivity expectations.
Engage subject matter experts from relevant functions to support the delivery of enablement activities.
Manage the team’s development and staffing to ensure departmental goals are met. This includes managing attrition and hiring to avoid risks in the business.
Keep senior management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
