Job Description

At Butterfly, we are preparing for our next phase of growth, and as the Regional Sales Director, you will be a critical member of that expansion. The Regional Sales Director is an individual contributor role responsible for being a true hunter in a defined territory selling across our four primary verticals within healthcare: Hospital, Primary Care, Home Health and Alternative Sites of Care. This position is responsible for leading a complex sales cycle which includes working closely with internal stakeholders such as: product development, IT, Training, Implementation, Client Experience and Marketing. 

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: 

  • Ability to get in front of the health system “C-suite” and drive strategic conversations and presentations around large enterprise partnerships
  • Create a strategic sales plan, build your pipeline, identify new sales opportunities within your territory, and close business to obtain your defined quota
  • Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using our defined process and procedures for tracking opportunities, activities and tasks
  • Vast knowledge and experience across the healthcare landscape, including: value-based care delivery, fee-for-service, technology integrations, physician work-flow and payers 
  • Be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, agile and fast paced environment

 

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience selling into health systems managing your own defined territory
  • Strong rolodex of c-suite relationships within the healthcare market and the ability to leverage those relationships for new partnerships with Butterfly
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, customer service, relationships management, time management and team building skills 
  • Expert in administrative technology: Salesforce CRM, G Suite, Slack, Asana and other technology tools
  • Advanced Presentation Skills  
  • Strong ability and a proven track record managing a quota and pipeline
  • Willingness to travel often

 Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):

  • Intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems, you develop and articulate clear fact-driven recommendations 
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup a plus
  • Experience exceeding sales targets with a proven ability to generate in excess of $1 million in sales
