Summary

The Retail Excellence Manager (REM) will lead retail excellence initiatives by collaborating with Customer Business Managers on retail plans and broker activations. This role will provide support with retail analytics and administration by providing the sales team and brokers with TDP scorecard summaries and action steps. This is an entry level position with opportunity to grow and develop.

Responsibilities

  • Own direction and action plan to Land O’Frost Sales and Broker Partners on the following retail in-store functions.
  • Expert on Land O’Frost retail status and opportunities for the customer base.
  • Leverage capabilities of Broker retail staff and lead retail meetings. • Utilize Broker network to cover store level reset needs.
  • Lead store level visibility to competitive: pricing, item voids, new product placement, POS usage, and store-level spiffs/contests.
  • Assist with any quality-related withdrawals/recalls.
  • Expertise with utilizing Nielsen syndicated data and distribution scorecard to understand store-level distribution opportunities.
  • Summarize monthly broker reports at the customer level and use to ensure Land O’Frost is maximizing broker retail capabilities.
  • Pull warehouse spin reports and analyze findings to close voids and product placement opportunities in collaboration with Customer Business Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in the food, retail operations, beverage, or CPG industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or a related field required.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and syndicated data.
  • Ability to manage multiple brokers and projects. Ability to be flexible with retail execution and apply adaptive solutions when changes occur in the retail landscape.
  • Professional communication and presentation skills: verbal, written, and electronic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Knowledge of PX Software is a plus.
  • Local and/or overnight travel is required 50% of the time.
