Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for owning the sales P&L and identifying strategic opportunities to drive an exponential growth in our footprint and revenues. This is a leadership role and requires a person who can devise a robust customer acquisition strategy, roll-up their sleeve to lead on the ground execution of key initiatives and deliver on the sales targets. The core challenge of this role is to guide the company to the next level of growth by building on relationships with existing clients, while developing new accounts and expanding market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plan to achieve forecasted results
  • Own the sales P&L and manage weekly/monthly sales activities, pipelines, forecasts, closed deals to hit the targets
  • Negotiate and close supply and demand side partnerships that can lead to rapid scale-up in existing and new markets
  • Experiment with new channels to continually evaluate additional opportunities for growth
  • Manage daily & weekly sales activities: pipelines, forecasts, closed deals to ensure above-quota results
  • Build a successful global and distributed sales team
  • Hire, develop, provide direction to, and retain a team of experienced account executives and sales managers

Key Competencies:

  • 7-10+ years of progressive sales experience, including direct sales and sales management experience (preferably in investments/wealth/financial services)
  • Ideally 3+ years in a SaaS tech startup, rapidly scaling revenue while managing the resource constraints of a startup environment
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and execute on effective short and long-term plans that result in sales growth
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Great people skills – ability to recruit, hire, motivate, manage and coach (help unlock potential)
  • Proven negotiation skills along with sound judgement
  • Data-driven problem solver
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and come up with creative solutions.
  • Self-starter with exceptional drive and entrepreneurial mindset

Salary: $80,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
