Schedule: Shift based
Compensation: Hourly base plus commissions

One of Vancouvers top marketing companies, specializing in telecommunications solutions and a primary partner of TELUS Communications is looking to fill a Call Center Agent role! Please note due to COVID this role will be a remote work from home position. There will be a possibility of transitioning back to office once business is back to full capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote TELUS home solutions and mobility solutions to residential customers via outbound calls, inbound calls and referrals.
  • Offers excellence in post-sales support for TELUS products and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to our client's customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend/sell solutions that meet those needs.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by communicating with the internal team, and/or appropriately transfer to the responsible department when required.

Schedule: Our call center operates 6 days a week. Shifts are scheduled based on a set rotation and posted 5 weeks in advance. Full-time availability is required. All successful candidates must be available to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, based on business requirements

Currently, we have 3 shifts (8 hours) between our Call Centre timings of:

  • 8:00am-7:00pm Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am-5:00pm Saturday

Required Skills, Abilities, and Attributes:

  • Experience in a sales role and/or customer service environment
  • Bilingual mandarin/Cantonese is preferred
  • Motivated to meet personal and team sales goals
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and should be 18 years of age or more.
  • Able to deliver sales and service excellence by demonstrating tenacity, persuasiveness, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about outstanding customer service
  • You are able to analyze data, utilize problem-solving skills, and recommend solutions
  • Able to maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Call center experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Internet, Television, and Home Phone services that TELUS offers a plus
  • Familiarity with voice and data/IP products and services
