  • Overview of Position: *
Reporting to the AVP, Sales – Western Canada, the Internal Sales Manager represents our client to the mortgage broker community in defined channels. Their primary responsibility is to grow business with their registered brokers/agents and to develop and acquire net new business with brokers/agents not currently registered with them. The Internal Sales Manager will be accountable for annual achievement of specific targets set at the beginning of each fiscal year.

  • Job Responsibilities: *
  • Relationship Management *
  • Create awareness of our client’s products through training mortgage brokers/agents via digital presentations
  • Utilize sales and marketing programs to differentiate our client;
  • Harvest new mortgage broker relationships; cultivate growth in current accounts;
  • Perform relationship building activities in a professional manner encouraging open communication with respect to market trends and competitive intelligence;
  • Manage broker performance to targeted volumes, funding ratios, and any other metrics as determined by our client;
  • Marketing *
  • Create and implement innovative campaigns to drive business in specific channels;
  • Communicate key information on a timely and regular basis to both existing and potential brokers;
  • Be a “Brand Ambassador” planner;
  • Develop an annual strategic accounts plan;
  • Create a touch-point strategy to organize work week, appointments and presentations;
  • Follow up on leads in a timely manner, ensuring we capitalize on the opportunity to increase our customer base;
  • Qualifications and Attributes: *
  • We are looking for candidates that have experience in sales and also preferably underwriting experience in either a lending (preferred) and/or brokerage environment.
  • Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP, preferred) or courses to satisfy provincial regulatory requirements
