REGIONAL SALES MANAGER Eastern US Promoting the School Health value proposition to current and new customers, the energetic, charismatic leader we select will develop and support a team of territory managers in the eastern United Sates. This highly motivated professional will identify and prioritize sales strategies for each of their team. They will identify developmental opportunities and create training and career objectives to each member of their team. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage and direct sales force for the achievement of sales goals within assigned region
  • Develop and review both short- and long-term sales strategies
  • Evaluate appropriate new sales techniques and ensure their implementation to increase sales volume of the region
  • Set long and short-term sales strategies for assigned region
  • Oversee the sales activities of the organizations products/services
  • Participate in the interview and recruitment process
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers
  • Serve as a coach to team staff and other employees in the company
  • Develop training for new and existing sales team

This position will be responsible for the Eastern United States, and ideally will reside in a greater metropolitan area in the Eastern US. This position should expect to travel about 60% of the time.

Qualifications:

Requirements include a minimum of three or more years of previous experience in a Sales Management role; strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people at various levels.

  • A minimum of a bachelors degree in marketing, business, or other fields related to the profession
  • Outstanding coaching and leadership skills
  • Ability to design and effectively implement both short-term and long-term business strategies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational strategies and techniques
  • Possession of good networking capabilities
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent motivational and communication skills
  • Result oriented and driven
  • A strong business acumen
  • Ability to establish sales objectives for teams
  • Technical ability to manage virtual-sales meetings and management activities due to COVID-related changes and travel-restrictions.
