About This Role

As a Sales Development Representative at ShopKeep, you'll have the opportunity to work in a startup environment while gaining valuable business experience. You will be part of a developing team of Sales Development Representatives who will directly impact the growth of our company. We are looking for people that embrace aggressive goals, challenges, and new opportunities.

What You Will Do
  • Consult with business owners to determine if ShopKeep is the best POS solution for their business
  • Thoroughly qualify each business and optimize lead generation
  • Manage a high volume of reactive and proactive chats
  • Meet and strive to exceed monthly goals
  • Flexibility in Hours: this role requires a weekend shift on rotation (from either 9-2 or 2-5pm EST on a Saturday)
  • Provide feedback to the executive team to help constantly innovate our processes and product
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent Sales experience
  • 1-2 years of direct sales or relevant experience
  • Passion for helping to equip small business owners with the tools they need to thrive in the modern marketplace
  • Drive to succeed on a high level and crush goals month over month
  • A positive, can-do attitude; you come into work ready to exceed expectations and conquer the day
  • A willingness to learn and constantly improve. You are not satisfied with 100% and are always looking for ways to meet the next challenge
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and typing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Drive to learn about new trends in technology, products, and services
  • Ability to thrive as an individual contributor and work with a dynamic team of salespeople
Bonus Points
  • Experience as a chat representative
  • Retail experience using a POS system
  • Familiarity with the Merchant Services industry
  • Sales/Marketing Experience
  • Experience with CRM software a plus
