Job Description

Defibtech has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Field Sales Representative. In this role, you will have the opportunity to balance formal sales training with real-world experience in the medical device industry. We will set you up for success with a strong training experience that includes hands-on, experiential learning at our Connecticut headquarters as you transition to an outside sales role in the field. This is a great opportunity to enter the fast-paced medical device sales field.


Positions are available in the following regions:

 

  • Florida - Orlando/Central
  • California - Fresno


Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and qualify leads within respective territory to drive sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Gather and utilize business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and drive new business.
  • Partner with key distributor sales contacts to support training about our products to foster our strategic relationships. 
  • Perform local sales calls in support of distributor partners to focus on new business-to-business account development.


Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Highly motivated and customer focused with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high sense of urgency and success.
  • Ability to effectively plan, manage and execute a sales plan.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience that demonstrates Defibtech’s core values of ownership, passion, integrity and innovation.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Must be geographically mobile to the position location. Relocation available.
  • Successful track record of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Prior CRM (Salesforce) experience, preferred
